Bubble Blitz end of month Update

Early morning! We're at the finishing stages for our current project. Our primary focus is finalizing the audio and play testing. Both the demo and full version playable mode mechanics are in working order along with local leader boards. Whether or not the global leader boards and the unlock-able achievements will be implemented with the initial release is yet to be determined. Worst case scenario, those will be a version update. Either way, we're looking forward to share this game with the rest of the world. We'll announce a release date when we've decided on one.

Samurai Gachin Demo reached over 3k downloads

Morning Androiders! Our first demo title reached over 3k downloads last night with a 3.7 star rating. That's pretty exciting considering the project is unfinished. Gachin was our first app inventor turned java project. Looking back at the original build and comparing to it's current build, Gachin grew a lot as a concept. With an unexpected 8 month dev time, our very limited concept went through numerous revamps because of our countless options to improve thanks to java. I believe Gachin is a fun title, it may be more of a niche so a lot of casual players may not agree. I look forward to finishing our Samurai Gachin project when we're ready.

Mid February Update

Morning Androiders!
Time to check in. Our Bubble Blitz demo is nearly complete. We're working on the level structure for our demo mode, "endless," and finalizing the soundtrack. Our progression has been going so well with this project, we've hoping to work on the full version modes and release both versions in March-April for both phones and tablets.
Both versions have the adorable emotion based animated faces that you can't resist popping....you murderer. A leaderboard to keep track of your skills, and an original soundtrack for all playable modes and sfx.
So what's in the demo version you ask? Well, the demo will offer one playable mode, we call it endless. This is the main mode behind the en-genius Bubble Blitz project. Along with this mode, a local leaderboard will keep track of your top 5 scores. The Oora! team will set the record, let's see if you can beat our scores.
That sounds awesome, now what about the full version? For a very small fee, you'll have the self award winning endless mode along with cruel mode, color blind mode, and speed pop mode. You'll have to wait to find out more about those. A global leaderboard for all 4 modes to see who really is the best bubble popping murderer, er popper.
That's it, I'm done for now. Later.

Bubble Blitz Update

Morning Androiders! Bubble Blitz is developing very nicely. Someone asked, "What is Bubble Blitz?" Well, Bubble Blitz is our bubble popping project that involves 4 different colored bubbles and 4 different colored buttons. The goal is to see how many bubbles can be popped before they reach the bottom of the screen. The purpose of the buttons is to enable the player to cycle through which colored bubble to pop. The difficulty is the progressive drop speed and increased bubble count per level. To make it even better, the  bubbles have these cute animated emoticon faces as they fall.
The demo will feature one mode of play and a local leaderboard. The full version will feature 4 modes of play and a global leaderboard.
Sounds fun to play huh? The real test will be if my 5 year old likes it.

January Update

Afternoon Androiders! January has been a busy month. We're a third of the way into our dev cycle for our new project, Bubble Blitz. We're half way done with the demo so our March deadline is right on schedule. To celebrate our progress, we're sharing the logo/market icon for the title on our social sites, Facebook and Google +. Screenshots will soon follow.
We've recently visited a local college that some of us went to, to speak to the current game design students about Oora! Games. It was great having an audience to share our experiences with as a start up company. Thanks to those who attended and participated, your support is greatly appreciated. I'm sure we'll be back to do it again.

New Year's Update

Evening Androiders! With the new year, we've decided on our next project. Currently titled Bubble Blitz, we're aiming for a demo release in a couple months. What does that mean for Samurai Gachin? Sadly, we had to take a step back from the project. Don't worry, we'll get it done. One last thing, programmer internship. We're offering it. You know you want it. Jobs page. Go apply for it. Later!
